Why transfer?

Performing embryo transfer on a mare has several advantages:
- To be able to leave the donor mare in competition, because she will not be pregnant, and thus start to give her genetic heritage earlier
- A donor mare goes back into heat once her embryo has been removed, so it is possible for her to have several foals in the same year
- In case of health problem of your mare, unable to remain pregnant, embryo transfer can be a solution to obtain a foal.
